To run it manually open My Computer and browse to the C: I would suggest using a module that is listed on our memory configurator. This will allow access to C: I know other companies have will call windows where you can bring in your machine to see if their perticular part will work with that device. I am upgrading the ram because this notebook desparately needs it. Corsair in Fremont is about five minute jog since I pass it as I jog on the weekends so if they have some kind of will call window that I can just test the compatibility that would help loads.

Click OK and the program will exit. I am upgrading the ram because this notebook desparately g733s it. If you’ve deleted the shortcut to Recovery Media Creator then don’t panic.
Also, does anyone know if Corsair has a will call window? Drivers can be installed from the c: Note – The images above are taken from the ECS GE user manual which has a slightly different case design to the Advent though they are the same laptop.

The command prompt will default to c: These discs will allow you to restore your computer in case of any problems with your Windows XP software. You have now created a complete set of Recovery disc s for your computer. The suggestions from our memory configurator are 7g33e on the chipset.
Keep these discs in a safe place. I would suggest using a module that is listed on our memory configurator. Your laptop should have a backup copy of all the drivers, you can find it by browsing to the c: The creation process will continue until you are prompted for a 2nd CD. You will then be asked to insert a blank disc into your computer. Press the ALT and D keys at the recovery menu to access a command prompt.

It came with mb of ram and that is shared video so even at the lowest video setting in the bios, it would still be only mb of usable ram.
This will allow access to C: Doing so will prevent the recovery from functioning correctly.
The Recovery Media Creator will remind you to create your recovery media every time you start Windows, unless you tell it to stop reminding you, dismiss it, or create the media. To use the discs This will completely erase all your data 7g33e. This laptop has one memory slot which is underneath the keyboard.

No I am sorry we are not a retail store, only manufacturer. If the HDD recovery doesn’t work then you can recover from the discs you should have created. Find all posts by Mystery.
Thanks for anyone who has tested this ram in an ECS Notebook and can tell me their experiance or if anyone can tell me if Corsair has a Will call window.
Last edited by Mystery; at If there are no modules listed for your system I would suggest using a module that has been tested and or suggested by the system maker. The compatibility list on the Corsair main page does not list compatibility for Value Select Ram. Please look up your system on our memory configurator.

Due to the nature of the recovery process you should not use FDISK or any other partition management software to delete the partition on your Advent computer.
